Luke

I am in my office at 10:30 at night to take a few minutes to post this. My youngest son Luke fainted today at work, and busted his face up pretty bad. He broke his nose, broke a bone in his upper mouth, messed some teeth up, and fractured his jaw. They took him to surgery and wired his jaws shut, but the good news is that it is not a bad fracture and he will only be wired up for 2 to 3 weeks. We praise God for that, and we know it could have been worse.

I hope the blogging church will keep him in your prayers. Thanks ahead of time.

God is good.

Bless that kid's heart. And his face. And all the smoothies and milk shakes he'll have for the next few weeks.

Of course he's in our prayers.

Dear Father, please be with this earthly dad and his precious son. We know You are with them this week as they work to find what might have caused Luke to pass out. Please give them peace in knowing You will get them through this. In the precious name of Jesus, amen.
