A phrase in I Peter caught my eye yesterday: "You were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you by your forefathers". Several parts of that caught my attention, but mostly it was the "empty way of life" part. Anybody else feel empty from time to time?

Let me be the first to admit that I feel empty sometimes. Sometimes this life just leaves me drained. Praise God that He fills me back up!

Hey, this is my first visit here! I enjoy your writing because it seems very "real". Regarding this entry...I feel empty a lot. I'm trying to learn how I can have more fulfillment. Obviously God fills my life, and I think that's why life on earth is hard sometimes. I'd rather be with God in Heaven!
