How about those computer rankings?

Weren't the Sooners ranked #1 by the computer rankings used by the BCS? If so, that should be enough embarrassment to cause them to donate every hard drive they own to some needy charity. HELLO!!! Computers are wonderful, and I don't ever want to be without one.........but they lack one very important ability, COMMON SENSE!
Remember the expression, "he is as smart as a whip, but he doesn't have enough sense to get out of the rain"? That comment was made in reference to your beloved lap-top. All along I have been against computers giving us rankings, and last night is all the evidence I need. End of story.

As to who is #1? DUH! Since we don't have a play-off, I think USC deserves to take home all the trophies. I don't think I am going out on too thin or high of a limb here to state that Auburn would have given them a MUCH better game than the Sooners did. I think maybe Sister of Saint Mary's would have also. That was like watching a train wreck in slow motion......I actually felt sorry for Oklahoma. I am a Sooner by birth, so that was not easy to watch.

Hey, there is always next year! Is there any sport better than football....especially High School and College football? I haven't found it.
Here is a prediction from someone who bleeds Crimson and white.........watch out for the Tide next year! :) Shouldn't we all feel that way about our teams this time of year?

CONGRATS TROJANS!

Can't wait for the Tide to rise again. Maybe we will be the undisputed #1 next year! Hope so... Roll Tide!

O who???Was this the same team that won the big 12?Was this the same team that has been to the final game for the last 3 years straight? Stoops needs to scoot before he takes another beating like that in front of a national audience. How can you get this far and get whipped this bad. I thought this game would be decided by a field goal and it ends up being over at halftime. But, give credit where credit is due. USC is the real deal...coaching, players, facilities, sunshine, beaches, tradition. They should be a jugernaut!whatever that is. Here's the reality check for me. My beloved Hogs get hor'dours this fall with SW Missouri St. and Vandy in time to face the Trojan Horse in week 3. Think anyone will be looking past the first two? Naaa! The good news for Hog fans is that USC looses 16 starters. Matt Jones, don't you have another year left???

Even this die-hard Crimson Tide fan believes that Auburn got robbed by not getting to play USC. I have a hard time believing AU would've gotten that kind of a whuppin'. I'm more inclined to believe that they would have won. And it's a cryin' shame that I'll never know whether I'm wrong or right.

Keith, oh guru of the gridiron.......it is the SOONLOSERS that are losing a lot of players for 2005, not the Trojans. Sorry! Want to throw in the towel now, or have about 15 ambulances in them there hills in September? :) You know Houston Dale Nutt lives for games like this, so he will have them ready. He might want to have Philander Smith lined up for the following week.

I'm sure you've heard by now from all your "buddies", but the Hogs play USC IN CAL-I-FOR-NI-A next Sept. They won't need ambulances--just trumped-up obituaries!(IMHO) Your sis-in-law
